I have a car that had a small damage on fender. It is Base/Clear. Maryland went to Water based and I'm afraid of results I may get trying to match paint.

Any experience with Quality shop that cares about classic cars is appreciated.

Thanks,
Chris mp440@yahoo.com

From what I've been told water born is better color match. You shouldn't have an issue with color match and if you do font except it.

That is better news that I expected. There are lots of body shops near me. Some of the shops are getting up to speed with the Water system, but I know of one that started a while ago and all Techs have been trained.

If you are looking for a quality shop in southwest Pa, Russ Gaisbacher has done a lot of work for me and all of my Mopar friends. He does top quality work and has a full service shop that not only does full ground up restos but also full service collision and frame so they are up to snuff on the latest paint techniques. http://www.russellsbodyandframe.com/
