I have been reading about some of the block guards for Hondas sense they are also open deck blocks like Dodge R5. The drop in one size fits all does not look impressive. But, the better machine to fit deals look awesome.

This has been done as Wayne Jesel told me they had that done to the R5 in the land speed truck with twin turbos. They machined down 3/4-1" and then reverse engineered a 1/2" thick block guard. Pressed it in against the bottom of the machined cut leaving an area for water between the guard and the head gasket. The shop was somewhere in New Jersey.

Does anyone know anything about this? Maybe someone interested in doing these. Looks like it could be a cool deal on an RMC block machine.

Troy at Rad Rides did this to blofish or whatever that salt flat barracuda was called. Give him a try maybe he could steer you in the right direction.
