the 45 angle of the V (the decks) are on paper .745" taller on the RB so the lateral (sideways) increase would be .527" on each side. The vertical height increase would be .527" also. As you know this would vary slightly due to stackup of tolerances/head/deck milling/head gasket thickness but this number would put you pretty close to the change you would need to allow for for ex pipe changes etc

The factory Racing Manual has the following width dimensions:
Valve cover-to-valve cover: B= 22.5" RB= 23.8"
Exhaust manifold-to-exhaust manifold: B= 26.25" RB= 28.8"

you're right my estimate was way too low
At the top of the deck, 0.527 x 2 sides would be 1.05". The farther from the deck you get, the bigger the difference becomes. So you were likely close at the deck height. But 5-10" higher at the top of the valve cover would be way different.
