Yes,call south bend for sure they have great customer service.
I have been guilty of this myself in the past but nobody calls the vendor anymore, just trashes it on the internet first.

I have a 07.5 with a 6.7 6speed and I put a single disc south bend cluth in bout 15k ago. Put a programmer on the truck today and in the street setting it will smoke the cluth. I have put all the miles on this cluth so I know how it was used and it hasn't been slipped or beat. I would sure think it would hold better then it does. This was with OUT a trailer to by the way. Input?
Which model single disc did you put in it? What programmer are you running on it?

Not sure if they had an issue with the single disc also, but the dual style, my friend had a problem with pins falling out. They actually called him and informed him of the problem and sent him a new clutch for free.
Myself, I run a phoenix fritction, full ceramic single disc and I tow a lot, have 33" tires and an edge box set on 5 and 100hp injectors... never slipped. Can't beat em for under 400 bucks!
