Hello, I`m restoring a 71 Cuda and need some reference pictures of the firewall. I have plenty of holes and don`t know which ones need to be plugged, which ones belong, etc.

You will have to specify:
STANDARD or "RALLYE" gauges?
fog lights?
340 w/electronic ignition?
SHAKER?
A/C?
HVAP/ECS or whatever the solenoid is on the passenger cowl?

I think that covers the differences.

Who posted the picture of an E Body firewall last summer or last year. I down loaded it to my other PC and can not help Dave until I get to that PC. I think it was picture of an Orange Firewall with references to each hole.

IIRC there was a difference between '70 & '71, "rallye" & STANDARD gauges, 'Cuda & Challenger.
Can anyone confirm the "FOG LIGHT" position (is it the same '70 & '71/STANDARD & RALLYE cluster)?. I'll add a couple e-body pics, even though they are NOT '71 'Cuda.

i believe the pic above is wrong about the roadlamp hole.at least on my car the roadlamp hole is the hole that says cuda clutch safety switch in the pic.and i think both cudas and challengers used the same hole for the clutch safety switch, marked as challenger clutch s......... in the pic.overandout

I know this is far from a perfect example: pre-production "pilot" 1971 Barracuda /6 3-spd w/STANDARD gauge cluster.
This hole makes a lot more sense than one on the other side of the brake pedal.

Here's the factory print for 70-71 Cuda models with fog lights, it shows the firewall location as being on the left lower side of the master cylinder mount location looking from the front of the car...the "orange" firewall pic above list the location as clutch safety switch Cuda only...

Clutch safety switch is on the drivers side of the master cylinder.

Road lamp wiring is on the passenger side of the master cylinder.

71 reverse light wiring is in a different place than the orange 1970 firewall shown above. I believe its below and to the passenger side of the wiring bulk head.

Correct, that would be notation "T" in this factory print...

I agree..
Plus the 71 Cuda reverse light grommet hole in the firewall is 1/4 inch larger than the 70 Cuda grommet hole.
Pictured 71 Cuda reverse light/grommet on the right, 70 Cuda reverse light/grommet on left.

Here's the other side of the /6 3-spd "pilot" Barracuda. There is one hole that looks to be identical to the '70 383 R/T picture above - anyone else have this hole (next to/below the ballast resistor)?

YES, it has a factory "SHAKER" hole - it had a factory body plug in it.

Does this car look familiar to anyone?
The firewall looks to have two holes from ADD-ON A/C (located for the /6), which would make sense with the rumor this car "was from FLORIDA".
"Indigo" paint, hood, 383, 4-spd, 8-3/4, 11" brake conversion at some point.

Dan, Thats a factory hole for the hard plastic wiring loom in 71... I've seen them in both white and black.
