You really have to have a smog test on a '76 model?? That is 38 years!!!

In Washington state it is a rolling 25 year every other year deal. My '87 had to pass in 2012 and the '89 Chev had to pass in 2013 and now both of them are exempt. I am glad I live here.

Yes we do! Their was work/talk on some legislation pushing to have the "no smog" issues moved up to 1979. But it stalled, and got shelved (better than killed, at least it can be brought up at a later date). We'll see what goes on in the near future about it. I'm watching, and keeping my .

the build sheet says engine code is 318-1 886 E code on vin. engine is long gone but its okay a 440 will sufice. has a p code in the adventurer package box andthe kb5714 code for the bucket seats. paint code says py4004 black, so the the paint scheme must be after factory kind of thing.
here are somemore pics

pics are as I was unloading it obviously. I have since moved the seat inside the cab to move it out of the elements. I've also hung the grill for more curb apeal. gotta keep the neighbors happy. My oldest son now 14 has always wanted my 77 Trailduster, but I'm not sure I can give it up lol. I think this truck truck will hold him over a little while. although he's not fond of the paint scheme as much as my younger son(12) and myself of coarse.
