For a '70 Challenger, the relay is showing as part number 2983828. The part numbers changed after Nov 1971 to 3620858, 3620859, and 3620860 depending on the model. My question is, does the later low fuel relay work on a '70? Thanks.

2983828 was never superseded, it went NS1.

Chances are that the only differences between the numbers you show are the mounting brackets.

Maybe someone with hands-on experience will chime in?

2983828 fits all '70-'74 E bodies.

3620858, 3620859 and 3620860 are all seat belt relays.

Well, I'm no expert but that number is coming up as a 72-73 seat belt relay and bracket, not a low fuel relay as stated in the adds... Ask for a pic... Did you see the last E-bay auction that went off this past weekend..NOS low fuel relay went for 60 bucks......
