Got a 71 Satellite originally GF3, Amber Sherwood Poly. Want to see some pics of a restored car in this color (71 and up color}. Although this was the most common Mopar color for 71, seems most are color changed when restored. Thanks.

I think my buddy Polaraco has a fresh coat of F3 B/C on his 72 cruiser:

I think I've seen a few 71-2 B-bodies in that color, and it really looks like when it fades, but it's pretty nice when it's fresh. B/C fixes that problem. I think a 71-2 RR/GTX/SS+ would show off the color nicely, since it's more convex on the flanks than some of the big C's.

IIRC member R_Blaha has an original paint F3 SuperBee with a transplanted hemi in it. You might want to PM him.

Doh, edit..I did not realize this was 71-up. Rick's 'Bee is a '69

Nope. All the Satellites have been cloned into RRs and GTXs painted a high impact color.

Here's a couple of Challengers for you though:

Thanks, Guys.
Man, I'm thinking of going back with it. Anyone else? 71-72 Satellite?

have bottom and engine just shot in this on my 71runner. PIC is too large to post here. LOVE the color. It really is a nice retro look, as I am going to set this up as a srt8 with the 6.1 etc... a total sleeper.

I think this is it. I'm getting closer it's a 71 B-body.

I love those colors that no one else likes. Greens, Golds, Browns. Tawney Gold is a great color.

I agree. F3 is a super clean color and responds really well to simple stripes, but looks great plain, too. It looks bad when it's dead, but when it's fresh, it rocks.

Yea...I consider it one of those colors that needs to buried a mile deep in clear, same with silvers. Then, when done right, they can look great.
