Sorry for the delete last night of graveyard. After I wrote it and got home after a nap I realized I was rambling and over thinking as usual.
The question was how far apart would you take a 71 cuda to replace the front floor pans I have an AMD one piece floor pan. One rear footwell pan needs to be replaced as well.

Slow down and read your thread so we know what you are saying/asking. There are 2 very good threads on installing a one peice trunk floor in an 2 body floating around, a quick search should find them. As for as the passenger compartment floor pan, we need to know what section you are installing and them we can answer the question, if it is just a rear section then no need for the doors to come off.

Careful, your character's showing!

New but informal Moparts rule - 'quote' instead of 'reply' to a thread when we are the first responder.

OK, I'll bite, why?
Seems to me as long as one writes clearly and expresses themselves well it shouldn't matter. I'm always happy to see good answers

I am thinking so if the OP deletes his post (which seems to be happening more lately), then we know what the original question was.

I don't understand why people just don't edit their post. They could put something like "info no longer needed" or "answer found/problem solved" etc. I would think anyone who has been here for a while would realize that deleting a post does not make it go away.

I also think B5 Bee's idea is a good one.

We all are happy to see good answers but what was the question? It has been deleted.
A response to a quote will lock the question in.

because an answer without a question, is just a statement. sometimes, it's not easy to tell what the original question was.

Point noted, and valid, but then any answer to follow on questions or statements are subject to the same possible fate. I suppose that any answer relative to any question or statement, if quoted, would always keep a history.

And I've been victim to this in the past where I look like an idiot because a question I've answered has the question change or completely removed.

Learned something new
