Nope jump seats from the factory. I have a rear bench in my 73CC that a company in CA. made.

There were no shoulder belts in the rear not even in a CrewCab
They're in there because the rear panel in a Club & CrewCab is for a Reg cab
Correct but when was the first year the front shoulder belts were factory? I've had several 73's and none had front shoulders.

Shoulder belts were an option earlier. My 70 has the threaded holes and they are listed as an option.

They are an option at least to 1980 as my Ramcharger doesn't have them. Has the holes of course with plugs. I was kinda surprised they weren't standard on trucks by 1980! You can even verify this if you look in the owners manual which I have. It says, if your vehicle is equipped with the Optional shoulder belts this is how to use em.

How is a Vehicle with a removable top suppose to have shoulder belts? 81 top wasn't removable thus Shoulder belts. I think after 76 they were standard.
New converts have the shoulder belt incorporated into the seat back. The belts are suppose to keep you in the seat, the seat brackets are suppose to be able to keep the seats inside the vehicles. Lots different thinking then what it was in the mid 70s. Gene

I know Newer are in the seats. I was referring to Poptop Rc/Td. They didn't have the post sticking up for them and wasn't incorporated in the seat. That explains why ford and chevy probably did theirs the way they did

On the shoulder belts, I have two 1976 W100s, and both are factory correct (bought new, never changed). My Dad's 1976 was built 12/5/75 and has lap belts, my black '76 was built 7/16/76 and has shoulder belts. The black one also came with factory A/C and a 440 and AM/FM radio, whereas my Dad's is 318 no A/C and AM radio, so many more options on the black truck vs. the red one. Just FYI.

Well, basically you have the use of the shoulder belts (if so equipped) when the roof is on and can't use them when its off. I'm guessing (no proof of course) a lot of 80 back RC / TD around the midwest and out east where winter puts a crimp on top down fun never ever had their roofs removed compared to out in AZ, CA, etc and down south.

If the top came off it didn't have shoulder belts. Only lap.
I'm no expert on these 70's Dodge trucks but it looks like they were optional on 1980 Ramchargers. Not sure about the 74-79's. And all the Ramchargers from 1974-1980 had the removable top AFAIK. Here is a page from the 1980 Brochure. 3 rd column Right under the green box under options. Says belts- shoulder. I have a factory owners manual too that shows the way to use the shoulder belts if the RC was equipped with them. I gotta say the shoulder belts on 74-80 must be pretty rare as I haven't seen one with em and even looked around on RCC a bit too.

Yes I know all the tops were removable. I see how it sounds as if I meant some didn't. So if 80 had an optional holder belt that means they had 4 male and 4 female belts as in a shoulder only and lap only like the early to mid 70s cars. Anyone have pics or proof?
That's what I'm thinking, the male/female buckle lap belts for driver/ passenger which all of em had and then a set of male/female buckle shoulder belts like the late 60's early 70's B and E bodies had. I'd like to see them in 70's RC or TD too.
