Hi all,

How do you know where to place the LCA when installing torsion bars? I have a '67 A body. I backed out the torsion bar adjuster bolt (on the LCA) all the way, the LCA was hanging down as far as it could go (with the strut rod attached), and I slid the bar in. I'm now lifting the LCA with a jack so I can attach the steering knuckle to the upper ball joint, and it doesn't seem to want to go up much higher without starting to lift the rest of the car. The center of my front hub is about 16-1/2" below the arch of the wheel opening. Is it possible I'm off by 60 degrees - that is, I'm too high? Any advice would be much appreciated - thanks!!

Roger
