Wondering, what is a good replacement for stock h/l bulbs? I've got a 97 Dak, and a 98 Minivan, Dak's aren't bad, but the van's headlights are weak.

I don't really like those "blue looking" bulbs. I see some newer cars with really bright ( and annoying ) type lights.

What's your recommendations?

Night Hawk or Silver Star would be a good place to start.

Have 9007 Sylvania Silver Stars in my '01 Durango. Been pretty happy with 'em so far. But I only put about 4K miles a year on it.

A rebate from Sylvania was given thru AutoZone not too long ago. You may want to check on it.

Your wallet will take a shot on the Silver Stars, but they do put out good light. A slight blue tint to the lighting, but not like the projector beams. About $20 per bulb, but heck, you've got to see...

Side note, make sure your lenses are not decayed. Clouded or yellow lenses drop the light output incredibly.

I've got the Piaa Extreme White H4s in my 2001 Ram single headlights. They are great compared to the weak stock bulbs but they are expensive.
