I flipped it on for the last fifteen minutes and one car broke, one nitrous car ate a few pistons, and a lot of advertisements. Watch the last 20 minutes on a DVR and skip threw the advertisements.

I haven't ever seen any of it. I may try to find the older ones online this winter to watch.

I watched. Those boys are always over on yellowbullet, and seem like a likable group overall. From their posts.

Those are making the program a LITTLE MORE ACCURATE by saying in the program intro .... the fastest STREET RACED cars in the country ... but the DRAMA-Nova still has a Midwest Street Cars decal on the windshield .....

I don't get it...do any of those fatash guys even race? or do they just run their mouth? I don't get a person that dumps tons of cash into a car and then lets somebody else drive it. If you are too big or too old to drive the car, build something you can. Plus the entire show looks staged, after that guy put that gold mustang in the ditch I wouldn't let him drive jack... he almost balled it up racing it too.

So what, it is HIS car and he can put whatever decal he wants on it......plus the car HAS been on Drag Week, so it sees some street duty. Also I think Chief and Shaun both plan on trying Drag Week again next year.

You seem to be all hung up on the mention of "street" in the name of anything that YOU don't deem it worthy. Why don't you petition NMCA and any other in the long list of orgs to get the "street" vernacular removed from their top class, which is usually called PRO STREET. Even at the beloved Orlando race you always harp about.

Hey I'm starting to enjoy the show as two out of three shows were much, much better than last year. Last weeks show was really stupid with the staged fights and fireworks and very little racing. I was watching the Raven football game and forgot it was on this week but that's why I DVR the show. I will go back and watch the whole show with my son sometime this week. Monte was that one of your shirts the one guy was wearing? If so good job as that car and many of them run great. If you guys think these cars are not fast your mistaken. I think the racers themselves are adding some input into the show and the producers are listening because its getting MUCH better.

I wathced it for the first time last night. From my perspective it is what it is. That being a TV show. Like most every "reality" TV show it was full of false drama and plenty of set up moments. Nothing wrong with that drama is what gets and keeps people watching. To me it appears as real as any of the numberous "reality" shows on TV.

All I know is that if I sawed on the wheel as hard as those guys look like they are.... I'd have covered way more than just my own lane and be in the ditch in a heartbeat.

My only real question is how much the show pays those guys to be in the show? I know most of us would pretend a whole bunch of drama if "the show" bought us a bunch of speed parts and new tires. You know they have LEO participation in blocking off the "race track" - so there isn't actually any fear of going to jail anyway.... just balling it up on a crowned and unprepped surface.

There is a 500+ page thread on Yellowbullet you can read if you want to know more. gotta sift through some BS to get to the real info, but its interesting. Here is a quote about the show and what some of the main characters make. Theres about 5 guys who get the $1750, everyone else gets $500. The list is in that same thread on YB

We film 8 episodes at a time and they make us film for 8 weeks straight. So work, relationships, family, and health suffers for 8 weeks straight. No sleep, just racing and filming. Could you imagine racing your car past it's potential twice or three times a week, for 8 weeks straight and anything that breaks has to be fixed the next day. Literally. The money we spend in repair, maintenance, fuel, tires, etc is three to four times what they pay us. And that's just on the race car, not to mention our trucks, trailers, shops, homes, etc. You basically use up everything you own in a mad dash for 8 weeks straight. Then they leave and it takes months to get things even remotely going steady. Then one day a fleet full of vans pull up in your yard and it starts all over again.

BUT....in the end there are millions of people that would trade spots with me right now. How many times in a mans life, is he given a chance to showcase his passion and get national recognition for it? I mean, we get to street race every night, and do some seriously cool [Edited by Moparts - Family Friendly Site - Keep it clean]. [Edited by Moparts - Family Friendly Site - Keep it clean] it! I'll sleep when I'm dead, and they print more money every day. I'll worry about it later lol"

It's entertainment. At least it has cars in it. Better than Naked and Afraid, try watching that one. I've talked to a couple of the guys on facebook, they seem like some good ole boys. Now we just need one for boats.

Believe me, MY panties are not in a wad over anything YOU might say. You think you know everything there is to know about the show, but in reality you know nothing and keep on harping on the same old tired argument that nobody buy YOU seem to care about. Just gets old hearing you say the same thing over and over.

And for the hundredth time, my name does NOT have a "Y" at the end
