I don`t see it as screwing up your wheels if the goal is to go fast........SAFELY............

Ya Dom, was running screws on both sides and same location per your thread. Just don't want to screw my new Convo Pros if I don't have to. BTW, got a screw locating disc for 15" wheels if anyone ever needs to borrow it.




Glue them, you will be fine when you up the pressure

Ya, they are glued right now. Just haven't been out yet to try them yet. Tire lady's problem anyway. She is up to speed on the situation.

For what its worth my 10.5x31W M/T are tubeless on a 10" rim @13.5 psi unscrewed and unglued. 1.32-1.35@3340lbs

There`s no doubt some get away w/screws but in addition to guaranteeing the tire wont slip there`s an advantage(supposedly)to the screw spacing and controlling the "wadding up" of the tire.............

had mine beadlocked. sent my warriors to champion wheel and they beadlocked one side for about $200/wheel plus they look cool. tire doesn't move.

You could be correct. The slicks on this car look better than slower cars I've had. They were unused at the beginning of the season but at least 5 years old.
