I am building a mid 80s gasser truck using a 4x4 chassis. replacing front diff with a straight tube axle using the 4x4 yokes/BJ/spindles/steering linkage for the nose up 2x gasser look. stock front leafs and remove blocks in rear to drop the back end down, should ride and handle well for street duty. Ifin I had a 65-71 truck I would have already had a gasser by now. so I have been at the drawing board and have a ACME gasser kit on the way. I did just score a leaf/axle from a A100 van last weekend but I want a more macho looking gasser look with a 4x4 chassis. and my PVC fenderwell headers work good till they get hot!
