Dont think ive ever seen a 598 that looked like a 420 inside..thats alot of removal.

Once we fix the pan, get the right lifters, and order pushrods all that's left is headers.

Looking forward to the dyno results. That is a bunch of work. Brett, how much hp do you think this manifold is worth over a standard chapman intake?. A decent amout I am sure.

Hard to say but this should shine on larger CI or hight RPM.

I would say on high RPM 400 CI it would be 35-50HP better than old truck intake.

It's 6.250" long runner and its all but 5" at Plenum tappers to 3"

It should be high enough Jay. The cowl hood on my Dart was 6in and had about 4in of clearance.


70 Duster W8 motor.
1.29 60ft 5.79 1/8 at 120 mph
glide with 1.80 gear
@3170 lbs.

Jay I do not think you should even take a chance on making it fit in your car, just let me know when its done and I will pick it up and make it fit in my car.
