Here in Chattanooga, there is a small group of die hard Mopar fans. Between us we have an original 68 Road Runner (still owned by the original owner), a Max Wedge 65 Coronet, my 66 Coronet convertible with HEMI power and a 32 Ford with early HEMI, 6-71 blower etc.
One of the group was approached to "tighten up" an "original" 64 Dodge 330 Max Wedge 4 speed car. We have been working on it for the best part of the year and it is ready to go home.
I got involved when the car was delivered and leaked a good quart of oil in the garage floor the first night it was in our care. A compression check revealed that two cylinders were down on compression. A test drive (by me) was disappointing to say the least.
Now after all the mechanical work, and over 500 hours of paint and detail work, it is ready to go home. I did the shake down drive, no disappointments now! Trust me, a properly tuned Max Wedge 4 speed is a handful!
Here are some photos.

That is nice, I love the early B bodies.
An association of men who will not quarrel with one another is a thing which has never yet existed, from the greatest confederacy of nations down to a town meeting or a vestry.

Very beautiful car. I love the brutal simplicity of the pre-68 cars. No hippie crap anywhere to be seen. Not to nit-pick, but why isn't the core support blacked-out? I can't rememeber if the early cars had it done or not, so don't bite my head off.
OIF V and OEF X veteran and proud of it!
