so how does one go about replacing the slave cyl on the dodge trucks?

the plastic line looks to be heat shrunk to the nipple?

how does it beeld the air out?

i skimmed the instruction sheet ay the autoparts store and it said it self bleed itself by pumping and purging air out of the remote fluid cyl.

working on my nv4500 5 speed conversion in my 85 truck, the slave i have is for a v-6 with a535 5 speed. slave is on pass side for v-6 and driver side for v-8 nv4500.

I ASSume the driver side mount and pass side slave are clocked different for mount and hydro line routing.

the one i got will not bolt up...unless I ws to chop clearance into the floor pan/tunnle for line clearance..not good either..

anyone got a pic of the slave on a 92-93 magnum v-8 5.2/5.9 in a 92-93 d150/d250-2x or 4x4 truck i can use for referance on the hydro line routing to the slave?

TIA

Don't have pics, but my 92 has the slave on the DS. Rock auto is showing different part numbers for slave cylinders from a 92 w150 to a 95 dakota.

As for bleeding, there should be a roll pin holding a metal connection that the plastic hose is jammed onto. Drive the roll pin out, bleed the hose, put some fluid by dropper in the slave, compress the slave to drive any spare air out, then reconnect everything. This is how I did it on my 92 and 88. The 88 had a bleeder screw also.

Bought mine as an assembly from the dealer.

All in a sealed bag. Master, slave, resorvoir, line and fluid.

Mine was for a NV3500. Might be different.
The routing become obvious with the kit because the line is premolded.

Yes it was about $400. Mine failed while I was driving it so I coughed up the big money to buy it but if you are at the project stage. How about looking for a parts truck.
