Wow!! I think I'll have to go try Auto Zone.

They're right next door to the Advance I was at today.

Saves me from driving an extra 8 miles to town.

Thanks for the heads-up John!!!!

I went up the road to my local Advance, & they only had 7 quarts of 50W VR1 on the shelf!!

So, I guess I'll be heading to my next closest Advance, since the counter guy told me it takes at least a week(??!!) to get some back in stock.

Wow!! When I worked the dealer delivery/parts counter where I was previously employed, we could transfer parts, & merchandise between our other stores the same day!!!

So much for customer service!!!

Your welcome Doug. Gotta save a buck or two whenever we get a chance.

Hey well If I'm gonna pay for the shipping, then I may as well grab enough to go the distance

Thinking outside the box here guys but Jegs carries VR1. Pretty sure they price match like many other vendors do. Just pointing you guys in a direction if you don't have an advance auto nearby.

I never really bought into the Brad Penn hype and always used the VR1. I bought some recently and ran it in my late model car that doesn't have a cat on it because I found out a buddy's job sells it. For some reason parts stores never stock the 10W30 Valvoline.

Anyway, I was going to run it in my Plymouth for my fresh engine again for the convenience of being available in 10W30 locally, but I stumbled across this. I'll stick with the VR1 for now.
