My cousin is building a 392 stroker out of his 5.2 Dakota and was wondering what he will have to do as far as tuning for the new motor? Will either his factory or MP race computer work for him?

Thanks

I just realized I forgot to mention the year if it makes any difference. It is a 1992

Convert to OBD-II, then SCT

or go standalone EFI like megasquirt.

Or run a carb

There are no good ways to custom tune the OBD-I computers

It's been done before so it's not too hard. Harness and computer from an OBD-II truck? Not sure about gauges inside though
