One of the magazines decades ago actually welded bosses on the valley so as to use Hemi heads on a wedge (dont remember if it was a B or a RB) so if that is accurate then the rest of the bolt holes would have to of lined up. post pics when you're done

Bolts on just fine for display purposes. You can also bolt the intake on. The exhuast manifolds might interfere with the wedge motor mounts.

Yeah, they'll bolt on.

Years ago, there was a board member who ran Hemi heads on a 440 block. I think he just didn't use the valley bolt. His username was hemiman.

I believe Stage V made hemi heads specifically for a 440 block and yes, bolt bosses had to be welded in the valley, which was probably the major drawback at the time. I imagine technology has now advanced enough that just about anyone could do that but with the availability of reproduction and aftermarket blocks, why go to all the trouble?

Anyhow, should make a nice display piece!!

I remember those guys out of Pittsburgh. They had a 1970 Chrysler 300 with the conversion hemi heads on it. Wonder if they are still around? I was at their warehouse on time, had to be 20+ years ago.
