How about tig-welding the spacer around the intake port, then u only need 1 gasket. Just a thought.

Only using 1 gasket per side. The spacers are glued directly to the intake manifold without gaskets. Gaskets between the spacers and heads. Welding is a good idea, but this way I can "back up" if need be ( another intake manifold or different heads).

Could copy a gasket onto a 1/16" aluminum plate. It would cut & smooth pretty quick.

Leaning in that direction

And pleezzee tell me you`re not using cork end rail gaskets.........

Had to use them Dom. There was just too much space to fill with silicone alone. Glued them to the block and silicone between them and the bottom of the intake.

For those who have glued gaskets together, what did you use that's fuel-resistant? I may need to "build" some .090"-ish gaskets to get an intake to align with the heads properly.

I use Permatex "High Tack". " Will not "dissolve by gasoline". I run race gas, so no alcohol in it.
