Here is a carburetor trouble shooting chart that may be useful to some members. I have this in a 3"x5" card in my tool box. I took the time to make this graph for others to print out and save, it is useful information that Holley provided.

Enjoy....

That could be very useful, and keep people from scratching a hole in the top of their head. Thanks.

Did Carter or Edelbrock ever do this for AFB's?

So the bartender says to the horse " Gee, Why the long face?"

I have sent an e-mail to Edelbrocks Tech support asking if they have a "trouble Shooting" chart for there line of carburetors.

If they provide me with that information, I will pass it along and post it in this thread.

Except when they have like, 9 of those problems.

I experienced that after my first attempt at rebuilding a free Holley 1850 with worn shaft bores in the baseplate. No amount of tuning makes a jammed carb work better.

Neat table, though!

Maybe that chart can be put in the tech archives someplace and saved.

Edelbrock was kinda enough to respond to my e-mail.
I took their information and put it into another graph.

Here is a Trouble Shooting Chart for Edelbrock carburetors.

Enjoy....
