Does the 208 share the same trans to t-case bolt pattern as the 205

I do believe they were the same, the only one that's different is that fulltime cast iron thing that I throw away.

yes the 208 and 205 have the same bolt pattern and use the same coupler, there are both 29 and 31 spine NP 205s.. Need to know what you have vs what you need...

Ok. I picked up a Np435 with a 208. I never gave the bolt pattern a thought. I plan to bolt the Np435 to the 205(gas)It looked the same. I didnt want to seperate the 435 from the 208 yet. Thanks

I miss read his post. I knew what he was getting at. Couldnt have been too bad if they put them in Every 75-79 W series truck. The axles are what caused problems and mainly do to lack of service.

All the Gas Truck output shafts are 23 Spline on a 435 or 727..
Only the Manuel Diesels where 29 Spline output shafts
