My guess is if the machinist was any good that by the time you receive them they have already been torqued two to three times by the time you receive them. I guarantee the manufacture did it at least one, I would hope the machinist did them at least once to check them so I guess after you install them, providing there was no mock up ever they need to be thrown away already. However I don't think you will find much validity to this statement. I am not a huge advocate of taking them on and off and repeated torqing of them either.But that is just my What do I know anyway.

That's bogus. You can torque them many time over. As Al said, they've probably been through more than three before you even saw them.
