Any one got any projects going where they are totally changing the look and body style of their car? I've been working on conversion for only a week now and loving the results. Would like to see other transformations.

Ill try to get pics up today. YES it will be a mopar drive line!!!!!!!! Is there anything else? I HATE the crossbreading within the big 3!!! Ford stay ford, chevy stay chevy and mopar stay mopar! I walk away from cars at shows when I see a "355" in it!!!!! I associate that extra 5 a insecurity and wishing they had more! Anyways, the 33 will be getting a 440 with indy heads and roller cam. Engine is a lil over kill but should be fun. (It has went 10.30s in a 3200lb car. I am using a 35 ford straight axle with the transverse spring, think they look good on open Wheeled car. Still checking into using a 4spd. Don't know for sure what to do for pedal/linkage.

No kids I take it?

I would love a sedan for taking my kids around in, soon to have a Grand Daughter so she can ride too.

Don't be the exception.

Here's where I'm at on the project after a few days. I'm playing with different ideas on rear piller on the door. That's what the duct tape iss for.

Got kids and 6 grand kids. Didn't plan on hauling them in this one. Got other cars for that. This one is for play!

I've got pics of the steps but I don't know how to minimize them to post. Tryed to and they are to big. I had an old 34 coupe that was in very BAD shape. All I've used from it was the top of the quarters panels. The back of the roof from belt line up is the back of the sedan. I chopped top 3in and rear window 2 1/4in. Spent more time figuring cuts then actually working on it. Goin to tub it slightly so about a 1/3 of the tire is under car on front of tire. Of course more will stick out rear as the body gets narrower towards rear. Tires are 32x17.50x15s on 14in wide wheels.

Man, thats a lot of work. I like the coupes myself. Not sure if I would have gone that far to get one! I certainly appreciate what it will take to get it where you want it. Out of the ordinary is awesome in my book! Keep the pics coming.

Sedan was real nice, rust only in header above windsheild and bottom of one door. But the lowwer rear of body had been cut out to put a wire winder ran off of driveshaft. It was one of those farmer deals. Reason I did this, sedans are cool but coupes are [Edited by Moparts - Family Friendly Site - Keep it clean]'N!!!!!! Just my opinionion. Open wheel sedans don't do anything for me.

I also like the look of a 3 window. Clean n not to busy lookn. Far as I know, plymouth never made a 3 window 33 or 34. So has anyone else done any crazy stuff like this with their old mopar?

I thought that too but check these out below

I kind of wish you did the sedan as a sedan, as I really need the back half of a coupe.
I have one that is in great shape except they cut the back out to put a PU bed in the trunk area, your bad coupe would have been a great doner to fix mine.

anyway like I said before great job.......

sure you dont want to make a Cabriolet with a lift off roof? like this

how about a 34 dodge car hauler made from a cut down 34 humpback panel truck

OR How about my other project, it's going to be a 34 dodge phaeton delivery, it is also built from a humpback panel truck,. hope to make it look something like the blue ford below.
and YES both humpbacks were in very poor shape when I started them. ron...
