Just had the dash out of a customers 03 2500 and got it back together and now the light for 4wd is on when it shouldn't be. Everything else works just like it should, no other lights on. The 4wd works properly, locks front end in and pulls all 4 wheels and when in 2wd it spins only rear. This is a manual shifted transfer case. Ive done some research on the internet and found this issue asked a lot but no real answers other then try a new position switch on the tcase. I have tried unhooking the battery and then light is totally out in all positions till it runs for bout 2 minutes. If running in 2wd after bout 2 min the light pops on and if you shift to 4wd, either low or high, it goes out till you go back to 2wd. Also tried unhooking bulk head connection for dash and rehooking and same results. Any advice greatly appreciated!!!!! Had dash out to replace heater core and mode door which work great now. Thanks
