Kayse has been wanting and older car for a race car/toy.
The car is a factory 69 Dart GTS 383 car that was turned into a race car back in the late 70's.

It's been sitting for years stored away.
The story we got is that it was raced for years with a 440 in it, but at some point the engine was blown up and a 383 was put back in it.

There's a roll bar in it and fenderwell headers on it. The car has a fiberglass front fenders and hood and trunk lid.

All the original steel parts came with the car along with the correct exhaust manifolds, radiator, etc.

The basic plan is to get it running decent so she can race it for the next several years as is, then eventually restore it (since it's a real 383 GTS).

She's excited about it, even though she never thought she'd buy a green Dart.
She doesn't really like Darts or especially green Darts

There's a good chance it will get a color change when it gets redone.

A few of my buddies think they remember seeing it race at the old Gateway and at MAR back in the early 80's.

Kayse liked the vintage racecar look that it has.

I need to get it road ready and track ready.
The tires are dry rotted, I need to look at all the brake parts (lines, hoses, etc).

It has some oil leaks that I need to fix, I'm thinking it would be easier to just pull the engine and re-gasket it for now.

For now the way it looks is secondary.
