The drums in a 904 are much smaller in comparison to the 727. The sprags in both types of tranmission are similar in size. A 727 sprag has two more rollers than a 904 equivilant. Incidently, when you order one, depending on the brand it may list the transmissions as a TF/6 (A904) & TF/8 (A727). Alan Jones
