I am looking for somebody that has one of these discount aluminum radiators installed and some specifics about the fan shroud set up.

Long story short, they say the model 503 rad replaces 2 different original rads that I am 100% sure are not identical. I have tried to contact the company directly and have gone through a couple dealers and still cant get a fairly simple question answered so I'm now looking for somebody that has one under the hood.

On the engine side is a flange that you need to drill into to bolt on the shroud. Its kind of a universal fit or you make it fit type of thing. The shroud wont really fit on exactly like on a stock radiator.

Have seen that detail on other Champion radiators but the picture they supply of the 503 has small raised tabs (like OEM) that line up with recesses in the shroud. See attached.
