The 904 Im using right now has these numbers on the drivers side
289080 A2789 6359
I think this came out of a B body car with a 318 but Im not sure. I dont know how to read the date code.

You're missing a digit, should be 2892080; it's from a '69 A or B-body with a 318.
2789 is the build date March 17, 1969.
