I debt believe I've ever seen a dual tank 81 up yet. Kinda surprised. I have a 79/80 that are shortness and are dual tanks and a couple other boxes I've put object trucks that are dual tank setups. All pre 81.

not factory on 81, but the bump on the inside of the bed is there...just no filler on the outside...I figure that they were using up the left over panels from 1980...or same stamping dies...

Dinuba, California, Home of the PALOMINO ranch and 440 truck farm, where dodge trucks have a home. Have Four 1979 dodge PALOMINO trucks now.

My 76 D100 SWB 2WD has the provision in the box for the 2nd rear mounted fuel tank, but it does not have dual tanks. The body and paint are unaltered and original. Josh-

same with my '88

the 88 long bed i choped up only had the forward bulge for fuel filler.
