This is from my phone so bear with me. I/we had a great time and would like to thank Josh for organizing the event. Amidst the chaos of sorting a new drivetrain, I think we made some good progress with Golddigger. This is only Radnys second time out.The back half mph gain was favorable at 29+ mph (lol) 660 111mph 1320 140.2 mph. So there is something to be gained there for certain. Feel free to help troubleshoot. More importantly I want to say what a pleasure it was to finally meet/spend some time with many friends old and new. By proximity I'd have to start with Dr. Doug. You couldn't hope for a better pit-pal. He is always so 'quiet' you only know he's around when you need to borrow a tool. I think he choose next to us for his own comedy show? More...

...and then we had the 2Jims. (Montessa) Jim has pretty much set the bar for how to go fast using Indy -1's N/A. it was great to start a new 5-year interval of cigar smoking with you. Closing out our 'circle of trust' was Tom (FastYeti).Friday he had an unfortunate occurrence with his car after a major wheel stand. Nothing a little money and help can't fix as he was not hurt. He-ll, I think the car could land on top of that dude and he'd be unhurt. My best wishes for a 'speedy' recovery for the car and who knows it'll probably be faster next time out. I'm sorry Jim and I corrupted you with the cigar habit. LOL...more later...

Thanks for the post Sean. It was good to see you guys. I'll have to work on not being so "quiet" You should see me after a few bourbons' lol

Randy is lucky to have you guys as friends, you guys were crawling all over his car during the weekend, and it really shows with how good it runs.

Thanks also to Randy and his wife for saving us a few spots next to them and feeding us during the weekend.
Tom got the Roadrunner home in one piece, and will get it fixed, glad he was ok.

See ya guys again, perhaps when we visit some family in Michigan.
Doug

It was great to meet you Sean. Thanks to Randy and his wife for their hospitality and saving pit spaces for us. I had the pleasure of pitting next to Jim and Jim. Great guys! I hope to have the Roadrunner back together for next season but with wheelie bars.

I really need to meet some of you local guys. It got kind of boring watching and wandering around with just my wife to talk to.

...ok, back again. It was good to talk again with Scott Brown, Bob Mendez (I'd guess we're in a race to see who finishes their Valiant first?), Vic, Rod, Mr. and Mrs. Hitman (Jeff Allison) BondoBob and Vic bailed us out of the staging area. (Thanks!!!) Brett gave a good show and tell with his different W8/9 CNC head programs and intake port work. I guess I should post this next comment in the official MMW thread but, I would not drag and drop my stuff at a track for the weekend with all the latest car and trailer theft going on in recent years. That said being able to stay at the track warrants a clean facility with showers and all the other accomodations that Norwalk does so well. From where I sat, the staff of Summit Raceway worked their butts off to get the track ready while facing some serious rain delays. Maybe I'm wrong but, I believe Josh pays for their overtime. I feel by the time we were eliminated on Sundays race AND ELIGIBLE FOR A BUY BACK we had plenty of run data on a car that was untested before the event to dial a number for eliminations. All I'm saying is I feel we got our moneys worth. And once again it was great to see all you good folks. I know Dartin's wife Denise did capture some good launch videos, we'll see if he'll post 'em up. If it's any consolation, here is an old pic of his car.

You don't need any help. In fact sleep with an eye open tonight...we MAY consider keeping you hostage for a seasoned crew chief. LOL

Sean,
The race to finish the Valiants has to be the slowest in history I'm hoping for next year. How about you?
Was great to see you guys. I'm planning to go to Milan once the car is done. Hope to see you there!

Concidering the change I made to the car and the tuning I had to finish up, it was a great weekend with good friends, good times and good racin'.

Light travels faster than the speed of sound,,,this is why some people seem bright untill you hear them speak.

Footbraking the car we are only getting a 1.68 60'. Don't have the slip in front of me for 1/8 mile et, but mph was only 111. These are a couple of the issues we need to work on during our next outing.I'm also having a transbrake problem. Doesn't want to engage fully or release fully.

Randy means 1.38(thirty-eight) not 1.68. Sixty-foots were not worked-on so, we know there is more there. But that doesn't account for about 4mph missing at the 660ft.

Yes 'race' may not have been the best word. The attachmnet didn't load. Let's see some progress pics Bob. Mine should be out, but not painted, before snow sticks.
