I broke one of the front pre-bent steel brake lines for my drum brakes. Where can I get these new? My local NAPA did not show them.

Thanks

In line tube, or fine line there could be more to chose from. Dont know if one is better than another.

I bought all my lines for the 70 Bee from Summit. It's Right Stuff brand. All extremely good fit. Happy customer.

I’m listening.

I have used inline tube with good results. Also, for repair I have bent and flared them myself from straight line from the AP store. Doesn't look as nice but works.

I looked up all three companies and I found Fine Lines was the closest to me, so I ordered the complete brake line set and got their Ebay pricing.
The kit was in stock and I should have the lines before the weekend.

Thank you all for the replies.

I have ordered from Fine Lines at least 4 times and it shows up the next day here.

Good luck, I'm sure the the lines will fit right, all mine did.

I removed the two front lines tonight and I ended up cutting the passenger line to get it out easier. This got me wondering how tough is it to install the passenger brake line with the engine in and all of the wiring along the fire wall?
One more, how tough is it to install the front-to-rear one piece brake line since it goes thru the frame?
Thanks

Only way I could install the MC to passenger side hard line was to bend it quite a bit and feed it from the MC.
Once I got it around the engine, I then reformed it to route along the firewall. Not perfect, but I tried several ways and it was the best I could do.

Good luck

The reason that I had to cut it was due to the extra wiring that I have added along the years. The wires were layed over the top of the brake line and I did not want to take a chance of damaging the wires, so I cut the brake line. I am hoping that I can run the new line under all of the wiring and slide it thru the back of the engine. I don't mind bending it if needed, but it sure looks like it will be a pain to get that line in there.
Thanks for the reply.

How hard is it to to install the front-to-back brake line? Any hints for me? There are allot of turns to this line and it goes thru the frame rail in one area.

Thanks again.

Easy actually, I did it on my 74 last summer. Stick it in from the rear and it goes in place easy. Same with the right front, it'll go in, no worry's.
I put in all three for a hemi when I did mine, that way I have a return and 3/8" feeding the fuel pump up front on the motor.

My tank got painted black years ago by me. I took this opportunity to repaint it silver. I believe it reflects the heat better that way to keep my fuel cooler.

Made sure my tank was clean inside, it was. This tank is my original 1974, it sat with racing gas in it for 18 years and the car never moved. Racing gas and lead is so good for your fuel system.

Old electric wire for the stupid electric fuel pump that I tried years ago.

I received the Fine Lines brake kit one day after ordering!
I was able to get all four front lines installed tonight. I was not expecting the two short MC to distribution block lines, but they are installed and fit with some miner tweaking. The drivers side was installed in just a couple of minutes. The passenger side was a little tougher but it went in with less issues than I expected. I installed it from the passenger side with a few minor bends. Once I had the passenger side located and snug, the drivers end just needed a couple of tweeks and it was in. I too had to do a little tweeking once it was in to clean up the looks at the fire wall. But overall, the four front stainless lines are in and look good. Props to Fine Line on the fitment of the front kit.
I will install the three rear lines this weekend. Thanks for the replies.
