Hi!

I am restoring my 70 Challenger RT and I see that my fenders have the holes for the pins for both the Challenger script and RT emblems....

On the decklid though I cant see any holes, I guess they were adhesive backed.

Now...when I used to buy Challenger and RT nameplates on ebay, I always used to find only the adhesive backed versions in Mopar bags....I think those were not NOS, but new reproductions sold by mopar....they looked nice though....I guess those adhesive backed ones would be correct for the decklid???

Still for the Fenders I would need to buy the pegged ones to be factory correct. I see new pegged Challenger script emblems on ebay witrh the part numebers on the back....I wonder if they are as nice as the adhesive backed mopar ones....

I havent been able to find RT pegged repros though.....

Any pointers???

Thanks!

D

the decklid ones were adhesive and the fender ones were pinned.
someone might know where to get the pinned ones.

frank.

I just got a pair of pinned fender emblems a while back for my Challenger at a local swap meet. They were in perfect shape. No idea if they are re-pops or originals, My guess is repop. I didn't care. Still nicer than the old pitted emblems I used to have on my car.
