Finally getting my valvetrain together and I've run into a problem - some of my ductile iron rockers interfere with my retainers by a slight amount - I.E. setting the intake an exhausts at 10 and 12 though respectively I'm interfering with the retainer. Recommended lash is 16 and 18 thou and I'm running aluminum heads.

Anyway, is there any solution other than clearancing these? Any chance crane golds or harland sharps will fare better? Or would I end up worse off?

Now I need to pin those needles, got to feel that heat
