found a 1978 dodge aspen super coupe that has the A67 code on the fender tag, but came with an E55 360 2 barrel engine and D36 904 torqueflite trans. i thought all A67 super coupes came with E58 360 4 barrel engines. does any one know more about these cars?

Check the serial number on the dashplate (near the defroster opening), if you find a "K" about the 5th space, that'll clear it up.

A 360-2 is "K", a 360-4 HP is "L". At least on the late B's, I'm sure the engine codes are the same across the model line.

magnumguy you are correct the F-bodies were the same as you mentioned.
If it is a real super coupe it should have the L in the Vin.

And.... along with the "L", on the fender (VIN)tag, it should have, I believe, an A67, 2nd or 3rd row up from the bottom.
