How do I do that? Do I plug a gauge into it somewhere?

there's a NPT plug in the case back there by the extension housing junction I believe. Not sure how high of a psi gauge you need

The governor pressure test port is in the tailhousing. (7/16" hex plug)

Hook a gauge to the test port, with the engine idling in Drive the pressure should be no more than 2 psi with the tires not moving, with the tires moving it should increase with tire speed.
