Thanks for any replies. According to the '71 dealer data book you thought correct. All 1971 Barracuda models with front disc brakes used 10" rear brakes. 11" rears only with front drum brakes.

6bblgt I Live Here Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 17,516 Las Vegas, NV	There are a number of '71 e-bodies with power disc front & 11" rear drums, including "axle package" 3.54/3.55/3.91/4.10 cars. Maybe it is something Chrysler Corp. learned from the brakes on the '70 "TRANS AM" cars. Do you have your b'cast sheet? What's shown under "AXLE"?

Hard to believe someone took the time to swap the rear brakes.
