So trying to remove my driver side stock exhaust manifold on my 67 Coronet R/T with a 440.. Looks like I need to disconnect the motor mount and jack up that side of the engine?? Appreciate any input.. I must have installed these before I installed the steering column..
Question # 2. Who uses exhaust manifold gaskets??

1) it will make the job much easier if you tilt it.
2) yes i would. i always use a gasket and sealer with metal to metal.

Thanks for the reply.. Exhaust manifold gasket blew out, the reason for this repair.. I remember not using exhaust gaskets years ago just because of this...
I cannot see any way to remove this manifold without tilting engine or removing the steering column... Just wondering if this is why mopar changed the clocking of the flange ( manifold to exhaust pipe) in 68???
