A Friend called a couple of weeks ago and mentioned he had a 9" ford rear-end he my sell so I said figure out a price I may be interested. Almost new (6 passes) 4:30 gear, 35 spline axles, spool, aluminum center section, and Strange 4 piston calipers, rotors, and all necessary brake parts. All for 500 dollars. Kinda short (32 inches) hub to hub but for that price I can't turn it down. At least I have a spare gear-set for the Daytona now. 1970 Duster Edelbrock headed 408 5.984@112.52 422 Indy headed small block 5.982@112.56 mph 9.42@138.27 Livin and lovin life one day at a time

Over the Winter he upgraded to 35 spline axles, spool, and 4:30 gears but the gear-set was a used set out of a 3400 pound small block avenger running 9.50's and leaving off the brake. Matt went with a 4:10 this time and lost about .02 in the 60 foot but it runs the same in the 1/4. When it broke it scraped everything but the rear-end housing, spool, and axles. That may go in the Daytona since I stole that one for the Duster. He's making a list of all the struts and spring he has so I can check those out too.
