is a swap to 904/727 bolt in? same mount location on tranny crossmember/ driveshaft length?

The 727 is longer than a 904, don't know about the 4 spd.

Tranny mount is the same no matter which A-body transmission is used (the only A-body specific is the four speed - of the three as I have no idea about the three speed transmissions). It's always a good idea to measure the driveshaft length.

4-speed and 904 are the same length so it is a direct swap for the driveshaft. 727 will require a shorter driveshaft.
