pa340dart member P Joined: May 2011 Posts: 78 NE PA,USA	There are a couple of ways 1) Data plate bottom line E55 (340) D21 (4sp) 2) Broadcast sheet Line 2 >>> D Trans 21 3) on pass side of trans if original last 8 characters of vin is stamped LM23H [ ORxxxxxx ] Govier's production code book lists 70 dart swinger 340 all LM23 cars total production = 13781 shipped (US order) = 10382 3 sp = 955 4 sp = 4423 auto = 5004 Somewhat accurate hope it helps What condition is the dart in? Will be doing a rotiserie resto on mine this fall.

Thank you for replying and giving us the information It was one we saw and were wondering You will love your rotisserie! we have a lot of fun with ours one of the best investments we have made in tools/toys It was so much easier for me to paint the bottom just flip it over as needed so awesome Howard was working on making the exhaust system while I had fun painting I got up early am this one morning and painted the interior of our ramp truck before he got as a surprise "A goal without a plan is just a wish."

Thanks for the added information corrections also Howard quickly scribbled them down from a site we found and it was difficult to read and decipher his writing. LM23 is correct and the missing digit is a one and its at the end "A goal without a plan is just a wish."
