take a 6" jumper wire with alligator clips on each end & ground the alt field terminal with the green lead to the alt case & see if it charges and if not then connect the alt field terminal with the blue lead to the large alt(batt) stud & see if it charges. EDIT test #1 will full field it so do it for 2 or 3 seconds just long enough to see if it's a reg grounding problem. & on each test touch the alligator clip to the male alt field terminal(s) itself. and take the jumper & ground the reg case to bare metal on the firewall
