flicks5 OP member Joined: Sep 2005 Posts: 88 ND	I have a 83 ramcharger that has a factory roll bar in it and I want to know if it will fit into a 84 ram shortbox? any and all help much thanks!!!

Polarapete top fuel P Joined: May 2003 Posts: 1,751 Graham, WA	It might fit, if it is a bolt-together roll bar and provided the hoop does not interfere with the rear window in the truck cab. I have a Ramcharger and one of the benefits of this body style is that I can open the rear hatch and insert a roll cage (without the rear legs)almost all the way into place. 76dodgeboy master Joined: Aug 2006 Posts: 8,064 Iowa	Sure it'll fit but will be about 4-6" from the front of the bed back thus leaving a big gap. Ramchargers are Shorter so the span from fenderwell to where it sits is less than what a tuck calls for
