Looking to upgrade the radiator in the 85 D150.. Looking for something to keep the 440 cool. Looking at the Champion that is advertised on this forum ... Any thought? 2,3,or 4 core?? Truck is automatic with a/c and we live in the heat of Texas.. Thanks...

Be sure to get one you can put a shroud on or you'll be wasting money. 3 core 26" should do the job.

I bought one of those Champion radiators. He gauranteed it to keep my motor cool or he would refund my money. Well I didn't think that a 3 core 22" wide radiator could keep my 512 cool, but it does. I would rather have a wider radiator, but there just isn't any room. Send him an e-mail and see what he suggests.

3-4 core. No shroud needed if you rub electric fan/fans. I used the 360 2 core for my 400 and it stayed cool. Had an electric fan
