It seems I must have done this before, but it's just foreign to me today. Please excuse what might seem like a simple question. How do you remove a head rest from a 69 style split bench seat? Thanks guys... Thought they just pulled out

There is clip on one post that holds it in place, I think if you pull it hard and fast it will come out? Otherwise you have to reach up from the bottom after you split the bottom open ???

Also pushing forward or backwards as you pull will help 'pop' it over the last stop on the bars.

I can't afford this. mark

Just don't pull so hard that when it finally lets go the headrest bounces off your freshly painted roof hard enough to put an outward facing dent in it

Old, tired, and sometimes broke down. Me, not my car...
