I've got some ideas on which way to go with this project. Got any suggestions?

pull the front clip, pull motor, clean up and PAINT the engine bay, add a tunnel ram and 2x4's and PAINT the rest of the truck. I'd probably ditch the side pipes and exit the exhaust thru the bed in front of the rear wheels.

I'd get some glass in it and drive the wheels off of it.
We really need lots more, better, pictures, before we can make the decision on what to do with it. (not really, but we really like pictures.)

The windshield is going to be the make or break in your project. Get that and your on your way. Chopped top looks mighty cool, Side pipes?? thats your choice, Ditch those wheels , maybe some Moon Disc. Paint? Black primer or satin black is getting old, try so other flat stand out color

it's ok to butt heads, just don't do it with a butthead

truck looks kool either paint it hot rod flat black and pin stripe it,,or a retro custom stype paint flat body and heavy metal flake roof and dash board,,chrome reverse rims or radiar wheels,,, i love spending other peoples money,,lol

those arent side pipes they are 1950s era styple lake pipes,,some one was trying to turn it in to a mild custom,,,

I vote for Sawsy Grass Green with a touch of gold metalflake, plus about 4 coats of clear.

Ditch the 80s style generic wheels. I'd do a two tone paint job ala 70s style..with a lace roof.
Add glass..ansen sprint wheels..rinse, drive, repeat!

I know they're not popular on pickups, but some skirts would really make that thing look long and low.

with the Moon discs - same effect as skirts; turn the tires blackwalls out.
