I think he means combustion chamber design -
open chamber, closed chamber, heart-shaped, modern, old design etc etc
Looking for 1975 through 1978 B body 4 door sedan sheet metal or parts cars - monaco, fury, coronet. Please let me know

that works. looks like the standard old school 915 chamber, although it does say
" Modern Combustion Chamber designs improve the combustion process "

i have a set in the shop......i'll get a few pics posted.
it is NOT an 84cc chamber milled to 75cc.
it is basically a heart shaped design, and is pulled in adjacent to the valves, which does put a little hurtin on the mid-lift flow numbers.
the OOTB flow in the mid-lifts isnt too good, but they do respond well to some tweeking.
oh, and the one chamber i checked the volume on was 74.4cc, AFTER i re-cut the seat and cleaned up the chamber. so that particular chamber was probably around 73.5cc OOTB.

Those comments sound like what Brian H. (ou812) said about testing the latest BB Victors that have a smaller (more Indy-like, IMO) chamber.
Just out of curiosity, does the difference in valve seat material between the original Performer RPM and later E-Street heads mean that you'd expect the E-street valve job to get pounded out faster w/ the same spring loads, etc.? Or would they be more prone to being damaged from running high(er) spring pressure?
Also, do they come w/ the same valves, or are the E-Street parts more budget-oriented and come w/ cheaper and/or heavier pieces?

Do you have any flow numbers to compare to the RPMs and the Stealths?

What difference is there in the valve seats?

I was really hoping somebody could post up a few pics of the new chambers. I have scoured the 'net and all I kind find is the old ugly chamber. I even called Edelbrock and they don't have any kind of pictures/data/CAD or measurements? Guess they fly by the seat of their pants and eyeball everything. Jeez. J.Rob
