I was looking at the Pacbrake Airbag kit for my 08 Ram 1500 2wd. It does OK with leveling bars on my Camper but when I pull my car hauler it squats--The Pacbrake brand kit looks nice and I was just wondering if anyone has used them and how they like
the set up? Thanks!!!!

I have air bags in my 08 Hemi Q.C. 4x4 they are Firestone brand I had them on my 02 Durango when I had it. When I sold it I took them out and put them on my HQC the mounting was different ( Durango the rear leaf spring is right under the frame, the HQC they are outside the frame) so I got a piece of angle steel and attached to the outside of the frame ( already had holes in the frame) and attached the air bags to them. It works great. I needed them as I tow an enclosed race trailer. I also have a two inch leveling kit in the front and the air bags allow me to raise the rear to have the truck sit even/ level. the only problem I ever had was recently one of the air fittings on the top off the bag broke and leaked ( plastic ) I replaced it with a brass fitting and it solved the problem.

I have a set of PacBrake bags on my 07 2500 4x4 QC. I have no complaints with them. My buddy has a set of Firestone bags on his 06. His work fine too. I will have to say that the pacbrake bags seem to be made of thicker, more durable material than the firestones. Either brand should work fine for you.
